Arbors - Pergolas - Sukkahs
Whatever you wish to call them, they make a beautiful addition to any home.  They can be constructed from any type of wood, although western red cedar is the most popular. They can be built with an open top, wooden slats on top, with polycarbonate panels for some degree of rain protection, and even full rain protection by adding a solid roof.
